Hi! I am James. I am really interested in photography. Currently I own a Canon EOS Rebel XS camera with a Canon f/4.0-5.6 35-80mm zoom lens. I also own a Tamron f/4.0-5.6 70-300mm zoom lens. I have a tripod for my camera to take slower shots, and it helps steady my 70-300mm zoom lens. |

I took these two pictures of the Hale-Bopp Comet during the early part of April, when it was closest to us. I used my tripod and my 70-300mm zoom lens set at 300mm to capture this picture. For those of you interested, the exposure I used was f/5.6 for 30 seconds. The little streaks you see in these two pictures are stars. The earth's rotation caused the stars to blur that much during the 30 second exposure. |
